DUBAI — The UAE markets started off weekly trading yesterday with gains, registering a 0.03 per cent shares increase in the Dubai main index and a 1.02 per cent rise in Abu Dhabi's general benchmark.

DUBAI — His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has allocated a portion of the funds raised from the Dubai Cares initiative to cover the educational needs of 10,000 Palestinian students living in refugee camps in northern Lebanon.
